FERROUS METALS

Ferrous Metals are basically steel and iron. Ushdev deals mainly into steel. Ushdev had commenced its operations by trading in steel. Since then, we have been trading in each and every product of steel being :-

(i) Raw Materials- Metallurgical Coal/Coke & Sponge Iron.
(ii) Flat Products – H.R. Coils, H.R. Pickeled Coils, C.R.Sheets, Galvanised products, Annealed products, Pickeled products, Colour coated sheets & Corrugated Sheets
(iii) Long Products – Angles, Beams & Channels in Flat products of steel such as H.R. Coils & H.R. Pickled Coils, C.R.Sheets & Corrugated Sheets

NON-FERROUS METALS

Over and above steel, which has been UShdev's core strength until now, Ushdev has also started trading in other metals like copper, alunimiun, zinc and brass.

In the metals sector, the compnay plans to increase its sales exponentially by exporting many more products of ferrous and non ferrous metals to many more newer countries in the world.

Imports

The Company currently imports raw materials of steel ie. Heavy melting scrap, shredded scrap, Cast Iron scrap from countries like Africa, Sudan, Middle East, UK, Oman, Egypt, Mozambique, Senegal since last year and would continue to do so.

Exports

The company is currently exporting materials to countries like Italy, Switzerlan, UK, South Africa, USA, Spain and Germany. The company has tied up its purchases with mills, whose products are exempted from Anti dumping duty in the USA market.
