Children's Future India
About 1.70 crore people in Maharashtra are illiterate, of which 69.2% are women, according to the economic survey 2011-12.
Children's Future India (CFI) is a secular, non-political, non-profit voluntary organization that works dedicatedly for the welfare of underprivileged children, their families and their communities among the tribal, slum and rural populace in India, with thrust on the state of Maharashtra.
Children's Future India (CFI), is working in remote areas of Raigad for overall development of under-privileged children.
Ushdev International Limited has supported CFI this year to develop the capabilities of the students in remote backward villages like Bendichi Wadi, Dungichi Wadi, Male Wadi and Dhamni Katar Wadi through 3 schools and to strengthen the capabilities of the schools to groom the children to excel in their career. This project not only helps in children's education but also covers various other activities such as regular health check-up of these children, nutrition to malnourished or underweight children, computer education, adult education programme for the village community, creating awareness among the villagers about health and hygiene etc.

Visit to the school
The Cleft project in India promoted by the Maaya Foundation has successfully operated on over 7,500 underprivileged children free of cost. The team has put in tremendous efforts to foster the care of these patients by offering them free transport, hospital stay and food. The patients are also entitled to follow up therapy at no cost.
Ushdev International Limited has supported Maaya Foundation's centre in Mumbai at Navneet Hospital, Dahisar and in Surat at K P Sanghvi Hospital which has been able to create awareness on cleft and facial deformities and Ushdev has aided this project by sponsoring 23 surgeries on the needy in the year 2012-13. Apart from this, free follow up care has also been provided.
